Rotary Position Sensors

Shock Sensors

Used to detect tire revolutions to save battery power in TPMS, and used in acceleration sensors for airbag subsensors to detect collisions.

  • A high resonant frequency of 39kHz means acceleration can be detected at high bandwidths.

Knocking Sensors

Used to detect abnormal vibration from automobile engine knocking and send feedback to the engine control system.

  • Due to the extreme environment surrounding the sensor, it is designed with heat and stress resistance in mind.

Ultrasonic Sensors

Measures the distance between the car and the object behind it when backing up to park. Has a flat orientation, being wide horizontally and narrow vertically.

  • Very sensitive with short reverberation. Its built-in temperature compensation capacitor realizes excellent reverberation temperature characteristics.
  • Realized anisotropic orientation in horizontal and vertical direction through the vibration plane design. Its original damping structure prevents vibration permeating to back of the sensor.

Piezoelectric Sounders

Sound Components to generate acknowledgment tone in instrumental panel, power slide door alarm, ultrasonic sonar operation alert and other alarm sounds.

  • Lightweight, compactness and low profile are realized through simple construction.
  • Since it is voltage-driven, power consumption is less than 10% of electromagnetic sounders. Drive circuit can be simplified by directly driving from an IC.
  • No EMI noise due to no magnet used.

Noise Suppression Product

Ferrite Cores

Coating type with shatterproof 50µm thin film. Separate type plate-form thin type sandwich core prevents accidental breakage.

  • Thin-type sandwich core is 50% thinner and 20% lighter than a conventional thin-type flat cable core.
  • Both coating-type core and thin-type sandwich core are shatterproof, preventing secondary damage to other devices in the case of accidental breakage. The cores maintain a noise removal function.

Products for Power Supply

Ionizer

Generates ions as an added function to a car air-conditioner to deodorize and clean the air in the car.

  • Low voltage operation (-2.5kVdc) is possible due to Ø70µm thin line and optimization of ground potential structure.
  • Suppressing leakage current to the ground potential makes it ozone-free(ozone generation is less than 0.01ppm).

DC-DC Converters

Used for power supplies of all circuits and actuators in the car navigation system including digital signal processing circuit, VICS circuit, DVD driver, HDD driver and tuner circuit. It is also fully customizable for LCD driver power supply, as well as for backlight LED power supply.

  • Adopted a high efficiency synchronous rectifier circuit, and simultaneously realized downsizing
