green.gif Items to check before introducing the system
space space
  • Ask the mounter manufacturer whether the mounter is applicable to the bulk feeding system. Be sure to pay attention to all precautions.
  • Ask the component manufacturer whether the chip components can be supplied in bulk packaging.

space[Selecting, registering, and ordering chip components for bulk feeding]
  • Select the chip component that will allow the bulk feeding system to produce the optimum effects. Generally, the greater the number of a single chip component that can be used, the greater the optimum effects that are possible.
  • To control the bulk feeder more easily, consider using the bulk feeding system with the same sized component. This makes it easier to employ the bulk feeding system for production of other equipment.
  • Register the selected chip component name into the parts list and place an order for the components. Control the components using both the taping-packaged product name and bulk-packaged product name. Specify the packaging form in the mounting process, not in the circuit design stage.

space[Preparing the mounters]
  • At the beginning, use only one type of mounter for bulk feeding. Purchase two to five bulk feeders for a single kind of mounter and make sure that no problems occur with the mounting system. After ensuring there are no problems, gradually expand the types of mounters used.
  • In some cases, modifications must be made to mounters in order to perform bulk feeding. Consult the mounter manufacturer for details in these cases.

space[Others]
  • Some types of bulk feeders are specially suited to certain types of chip components, while unsuited to other types. Though our company has confirmed that our chip components are applicable to the bulk feeding system, contact us if any problems occur. (Contact Us)
