USB devices for PC peripherales and
CAN-BUS devices for automobiles need resonators that can provide
tighter oscillating frequency tolerance than conventional models.
Therefore, the resonators that generate timing control signals for such
equipment must provide highly-accurate oscillating frequency of ±0.25
to 0.40% (total frequency tolerance comprising initial tolerance,
frequency drift by temperature and aging).
Murata has endeavoured to improve ceramic micro-processing technology
and to develop original piezoelectric materials to offer resonators
that can meet the oscillation accuracy required for USB devices. You can expect Murata
products to provide even tighter tolerance in the future. |
