Noise Emission Status

Noise radiates from the computer body and cables. Noise also radiates from the LCD panel and the cable between the computer body and LCD panel.

Notebook PCs operate with high-speed signals. Because the case is usually made of plastic, with no shielding effect, high-level noise is emitted from the computer. Many cables are connected, so noise also radiates from the cables. In many cases, signals to the LCD panel are transmitted as LVDSs (Low Voltage Differential Signals), producing high noise levels from the signal lines.
