Installing EMI Filters on Oscillator Output

The oscillator circuit generates high-level noise. Because large currents flow even when the length of the PCB pattern is short, current is suppressed by installing the BLM Series (Chip Ferrite Bead) in the oscillator circuit output. When necessary, a capacitor type EMI filter is used in combination, such as the NFM21C Series (Chip Solid "EMIFIL®").

In some cases, the oscillator circuit is connected to GND through the chip ferrite bead. In these cases, careful attention must be paid to equipment operation.
