Common mode noise generated from the Video Signal IC is conducted through the signal line and radiates from the AV cable through the signal line and emitted from the cable. When the BLM18AG601SN1 (Chip Ferrite Bead, 600 ohms at 100 MHz) is installed on both the video signal line and GND line, the noise level is suppressed by approximately 3 dB.
Using a filter with a high constant may distort the video signal waveform, deteriorating the picture quality. Attention must be paid for correct filter selection.
Using a Common Mode Choke Coil that effectively suppresses common mode noise without adversely affecting the signal is also effective.
