Summary

Held every year in Hannover, Germany, CeBIT is the world’s largest trade show for IT solutions. It features booths by 3,300 companies from 70 countries all over the world in business fields such as the Internet of Things, big data, cloud computing, and security, and is attended by 200,000 visitors. With Japan selected as the official Partner Country for CeBIT 2017, the exhibition will be a stage for Japan’s industries, government, and academia to come together and demonstrate Japan’s role as a pioneer in cutting-edge digital technologies such as virtual reality and artificial intelligence to the whole world.
Murata’s booth will be located in the Element Zone of the Japan Pavilion, set up on the exhibition grounds by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). Murata will introduce devices that help achieve more compact, high-performance equipment in society, daily life, and infrastructure, as well as technologies expected to grow even more in the future, such as sensor solutions and robotics.
