    • If the strength of a magnetic field is over a constant, the duty cycle of when the sensor is ON versus when it is OFF will be stabilized at around 50%.
      (In the case there are multiple sensors set up to discern the direction of rotation, the stability of the duty cycle is important.)

    Applications

    • Rotation detection applications such as in gas and water meters
    • Applications where low current consumption is required, such as powering batteries
