Barometric Pressure Sensor FAQ

Why Capacitive type is is low pressure noise and low power compared to Piezo-resistive type?

Since sensor noise depends on IC designing, it is difficult to compare noise strictly, but we consider that our Capacitive type is in advantage in principe for senstive. Against for pressure change, Capacitance change is bigger than register change,  SN (Signal & Nose) becomes better and noise becomes low.  If diaphramsize and thickness are same, sensitivity becomes twice as better. If thickness is adapted to actual design, sensitivity becomes quadruple better. Compared to Piezo-resistive type, capacitive type needs lower current for detection, so consumption current become low. Compared to other companies, our diaphram thicnkess is thin.
