The Yokaichi Plant is located in Higashiomi-shi, Shiga Prefecture. It started operating in March 1962 as supply base for ceramic raw materials. After that, its functions expanded as the electronics market grew larger. The plant is currently engaged in work from the development of ceramic raw materials to production, ceramic engineering, and processing of end products. It is a base whose activities range from the upstream to the downstream of ceramic electronic components. In addition, the plant is also putting its efforts into greening and similar initiatives as a business site that values nature.
Take the JR Tokaido Line to Maibara Stn. or Ohmi-Hachiman Stn., change to the Ohmi Railway and detrain at Yokaichi Stn. From here it is 10 min. by Ohmi Bus to the Okuyama bus stop located in front of the office.
