High heat-resistant film capacitor FH series attain continuous use at 125℃.

Introduction


Currently, the film capacitors widely used in automotive applications guarantee 105℃ continuous or less in general.
We developed a new high temperature film material, and developed high temperature film capacitors that can be continuously used at the temperature of 125℃ with SHIZUKI ELECTRIC CO. , INC.
Although high temperature film capacitors have previously existed, their self-healing function barely works at high temperature and it can lead to a short mode failure. On the other hand, our newly developed products feature the implementation of self-healing function at high temperature ranges.


Conventional film capacitors

  • Guarantee 105℃ continuous or less in general(PP)
  • Very limited functional self-healing at high temperature ranges, leading to a short mode failure (PPS and PEN )

High temperature capacitors (New Products)

  • Enable to use at 125℃ continuous
  • Functional self-healing at high temperature ranges, leading to an open mode failure

DC-Link capacitor for Hybrid / Electrical vehicles that require high heat-resistance and safety

  • Inverter for motor drive
