We will be providing a demonstration of how considerable power saving is possible by using a sensor to detect the presence of a person nearby, and then using this information to control an LED lighting system via a wireless network. We will also be introducing electronic components and technologies that play an active role in "Smart Home" technology. "Smart Home" makes efficient use of electricity and enables people to sensibly enjoy their livelihoods with products such as a batteryless remote control consisting of a communication module and energy harvester that converts ambient energy from background sources into electricity.

We will be introducing electronic components and technologies for easier access to healthcare: for example, a vital sign sensor that can take a person's pulse when simply held in the hand; and a communication module that keeps track of a person's physical condition by sending monitored data to a personal computer or mobile phone.
Also introduced will be electronic components and technologies such as the near field communication (NFC) module and a sensor that operates motion control without the need for a touch panel. These components can contribute to reducing the size and increasing the functionality of smartphones and tablet computers.
