1. System Requirements
                          Minimum

: Required Disk Space     up to 4MB
: System                  Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 95/98, Windows NT(R) 4.0
                          Windows(R) 2000, Windows(R) XP, Windows(R) Vista


Please note that the performance of this software depends on your system.


2. Starting and Quitting

Please select "Murata Medium-voltage Capacitors Selection Tool by Voltage Form"
from start menu.
To quit the program, click "File" on the menu and choose "Exit."


3. Supplement and Notice

[Print]
To print charts appropriately, choose sheet size as "A4" or "Letter" in your
Printer setup.

[Applied frequency]
Applied frequency :
(1) Lead type capacitors: 
  DEF series                       : not more than 100kHz
  The othere lead type capacitors: not more than 300kHz
(2) Chip type capacitors:
  C0G Char. rated voltage DC630V : 10kHz - 100kHz
  C0G Char. rated voltage DC3.15kV :  not more than 100kHz
  The other chip type capacitors     :  not more than 500kHz

[Maximum operating temperature]
Maximum operating temperature in the selection by this Software :
  Lead type capacitors:  85- deg.C (185- deg.F)
  Only DEF series:      105- deg.C (221- deg.F)
  Chip type capacitors: 125- deg.C (257- deg.F)
*When lead type capacitors are used at the temperature ranging from 
 85- deg.C to 125- deg.C, it is necessary to reduce the voltage / current applied 
to capacitors, except for DEF series.  
*Either of lead type or chip type capacitors can not be used at the temperature
 above 125- deg.C.（85- deg.C : DEC series, 105- deg.C : DEF series）
