2.Murata's Suggestion

As mentioned above, it depends on the output current to decide which factor of inductor is important for power conversion efficiency.
For portable equipment, smaller and thinner size, and longer battery life are usually required.
However, for small power inductor used with portable equipment, it is physically difficult to make all factors become better at the same time.
Therefore, depending on output current requirement, a suitable power inductor should be chosen in order to achieve the best efficiency.

With the same inductance value, Murata provides inductors with various characteristic by our unique design.
For example, with same inductance value, we have DCR oriented version, saturation current oriented version, and standard characteristics version. We can suggest suitable item for your application.
