| Wear resistance |
Murata has established a technology to ensure higher wear resistance. Product numbers other than those above are also available. For further information, contact Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

While a magnetic medium is passing over the sensor's detecting surface, the friction between the medium and the detecting surface will generate static electricity, which causes strong noise.
To prevent this problem, the case, cap, and cover are provided with a float terminal. The resistance between the case and the terminal is 1ohm or less.
