Stabilization of the Display on LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) Units with the NCP Series

• The LCD (liquid crystal display) unit is used in OA equipment, telecommunications equipment, and various other kinds of equipment.
• The LCD has these temperature characteristics. When the temperature is low, the transmission factor is decreased, resulting in an unclear display. When the temperature is high, screen contrast becomes excessively sharp, wasting power.
• The NTC Thermistor stabilizes the display by controlling the driving voltage of the LCD.
• Recent electronic equipment with an LCD requires smaller and thinner components for the driving circuit. Therefore, the surface mount chip type (NCP Series) is optimal.

• Detects the ambient temperature.
• Controls the voltage of the display driving circuit to perform temperature compensation.
