For the length except standard type, contact us.
The standard type is available in 5mm lead pitch taping packaging.
The temperature sensing accuracy is within ±2°C in the temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
If a current that exceeds the allowable operating current passes through the NTC Thermistor, its temperature sensing accuracy is degraded. Use this thermistor with a current that does not exceed the allowable operating current.
Use a current 1/10 to 1/20 of the allowable operating current for reference. (Since the resistance of the NTC Thermistor is high at low temperatures, even a small current flow causes the thermistor to generate heat. Therefore, when measuring the resistance, the lowest possible temperature of the equipment must be taken into consideration.)
Heat expands and contracts resin, applying stress to the thermistor element. Therefore, elastic resin (resin with high heat conductivity such as those with silicone) must be used. Thoroughly evaluate whether the adhesive agent can be used, and then contact us.

This NTC Thermistor element and leads are soldered together. Because of this, solder the leads at a point 5mm or more away from the lead's root so that the joints between the element and lead are not affected. In addition, make sure that the soldering iron does not come into contact with the thermistor body.
It has a silver (Ag) type electrode with nickel (Ni) plating and tin (Sn) plating.
NCP18/21 Series can be flow-soldered within the range shown in the temperature-time relationship graph given below.
When soldering is repeated twice or more, make sure that the accumulated soldering time does not exceed the range shown in the graph below.

The thermal time constant varies widely depending on the size, material, and other conditions of the board to which the thermistor is mounted. For details, contact us.
This Series is only provided by the taping package.
