Murata to move its European Headquarters into new premises in Hoofddorp on the outskirts of Amsterdam

21/08/2013

Murata is delighted to announce the signing of an agreement that will provide it with new offices for its European Headquarters in Hoofddorp from the start of 2014. Located just 15km from the center of Amsterdam, the new building will also accommodate the Murata Netherlands sales operations. It is also close to Hoofddorp railway station, which is only one stop away from Schiphol Airport.

Glenn Palmer, President of Murata EMEA, commented, “These new offices will provide the facilities we lack in our present location and meet all the requirements of our staff and visiting customers.” He continued, “We are convinced that the new building will improve our staff's working environment and drive enthusiasm and harmony within the company, where employee satisfaction is one of our key values."

The rental contract with NSI, a real estate investment company, allows Murata to move into the new premises at Wegalaan 2-8, Hoofddorp, from 1st of January 2014. The accompanying photos show the new building and the contract signing with Glenn Palmer, President of Murata EMEA, on the left.
