Job Description

  • To draw business hypotheses and scenarios, pursue suitable business models and related business plans
  • To know and understand the ECO-System of the applications / business in the automotive market and establish relationships with key stake holders
  • To propose new design concepts & business models to our “Next Business” and R&D headquarter in Japan according to market needs
  • To visit existing and new customers to promote early stage products with strong technology perspective and validate / adjust product concepts to European market needs
  • To identify Murata’s value proposition for future new products / solutions / services

Job Requirements

  • Master's or bachelor degree in electronics with focus on system engineering or a business degree with focus on business development / entrepreneurship in combination with the necessary electronics knowledge
  • Professional experience in the automotive industry and in system engineering or similar, as well as promotion skills are a must (minimum three years)
  • Business development knowledge ideally with project management experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to judge feasibility with realism and facts
  • Intercultural and networking skills as well as proactive, project driving behavior
  • Proficient command of the English and German language in speaking and writing, including negotiation and presentation skills
  • Willingness to make business trips within and outside of Europe
