PTC Thermistors (POSISTOR) FAQQ[PRF Series] What is the definition of maximum voltage?

A

The maximum voltage shows the voltage that the product will not break (equivalent to the maximum allowable voltage). If a maximum voltage is applied to the product, accurate temperature detection may not be possible due to self-heating. Therefore, apply a voltage that does not generate self-heat in POSISTOR in the actual circuit.
