Overview
Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has established Foshan Murata Minmetals Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Foshan Murata") in the Shunde District of Foshan City in China's Guangdong Province as a Murata group company, and has completed construction of the plant on March 14.
Background
Murata has initiated Foshan Murata to meet the ever-expanding demand for electronic components centered around emerging countries. Foshan Murata will produce the ceramic raw materials used for electronic components manufactured by Murata. We will establish a stable production and procurement framework for raw materials in order to provide even more competitive electronic components to our customers than before.
