MEDTEC Japan is Asia’s largest exhibition dedicated to medical device design and manufacturing, with approximately 35,000 visitors from the medical device industry expected to attend. At MEDTEC Japan 2017, Murata will present example of solutions incorporating the temperature sensors, RFID devices, and small energy devices it has developed to cater to the trend toward smaller and more networked medical devices.

Exhibition highlights

New thermistor products: “Murata’s thermal solutions”

Murata will introduce and demonstrate uniquely shaped thermistors that apply the characteristics of a “thermal-sensitive element” whose resistance changes significantly according to temperature, aimed at healthcare-related devices such as heaters and temperature sensors in ultra-compact sizes.

Piezo Vibe

Murata will introduce and demonstrate vibrators ideally suited to the notification functions of wearable devices with small sizes, low profiles, and low power consumption.
