Murata has begun mass production of multilayer-type power inductors with a maximum height of 0.8 mm in 1008 (LQM2HP_EH series) and 0806 sizes (LQM2MP_EH series). These new components have an even lower profile than conventional products (maximum height 1.0 mm), while maintaining superior DC superimposing characteristics and low DC resistance.
Mobiles devices including smartphones continue to simultaneously decrease in size while increasing in function, and there is heightened demand for internal components that can deliver high performance in small sizes and low profiles.
For this reason, Murata has commercialized multilayer-type power inductors in 1008 and 0806 sizes with a maximum height of 0.8 mm. The new components achieve high performance with a lower profile than conventional products.
These are high-performance, low-profile multilayer power inductors with superior DC superimposing characteristics and low DC resistance.
Using our unique multilayer technology for manufacturing high-performance inductors, we achieved products with a maximum height of 0.8 mm that boast an even lower profile than conventional products.
Murata offers a lineup of inductance ranges from 0.24 to 22 µH that are ideal as inductors for power supply step-down circuits such as those in small mobile devices.
