Although the KRM/KCM series which have metal leads are effective for acoustic noise and cracks, doesn't the ESR increase by an amount corresponding to the existence of metal terminals?
How much does ESR get worse as compared with GRM series?

As a result of the attachment of metal terminals, the resistance increases accordingly, so the ESR and impedance rise to a greater extent compared to the GRM series for general use.
The following data shows the impedance characteristics of various types of capacitors (typical data).
In the region of approximately 1 MHz or higher, the impedance of a capacitor that has metal terminals is higher than that of an MLCC. However, its impedance is lower than that of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor, a tantalum capacitor or a film capacitor.
The data shown here is one example. The actual impedance characteristics differ according to the capacitor that you intend to use, so check the impedance characteristics of the capacitor before using it.
