AMR Sensors FAQ

Operating Circuit

What is Consumption current (Icc)?

Current the AMR sensor consumes to operate. The AMR sensor integrates semiconductor elements including a transistor or transistors, which consume currents to work. Current also flows through the magnetoresistive element of the AMR sensor. Depending on the product, the timing for passing current through this element is adjusted to reduce consumption current (internal sampling).
