Internet-Based Catalog Data Retrieval System Murata Product Search Engine Chinese Version Available Soon

A Chinese version of the Internet-based catalog data retrieval system, “Murata Product Search Engine*” will be available in January, 2009. This system, formerly available only in Japanese and English will now be offered in three languages.

* “Murata Product Search Engine” is a catalog information viewing system available on the Murata web site. Catalog information in terms of product part numbers may be retrieved by searching the product category, part number or characteristic value.

With the recent trend of European manufacturers establishing product centers in Greater China as well as the rapid growth of local Chinese companies, Murata products now have an increasing number of Chinese language users. In order to better serve these needs, we have decided to make available the Chinese version of “Murata Product Search Engine,” formerly only available in Japanese and English. “E-SHOP”, operated in Murata China, linked with the catalog information available from the English version of “Murata Product Search engine”, will be linked with the Chinese version. We hope to make “E-SHOP” more accessible by now offering it in Chinese.
