Due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus, many factories in China have suffered supply issues. Murata`s situation has recently begun to improve with normal operations expected this week from four of our major factories.
Coronavirus has had significant impact on the local communities in China and Murata would like to express their deepest condolences to those who have been affected. In collaboration with the local authorities Murata has ensured that thorough measures have been put in place to minimize the risk of infection. This includes steps such as the wearing of masks and maintaining high levels of hygiene at all times throughout the workplace.
Status of operations in China Office
Shenzhen Murata Technology has resumed its operations on February 12th.
With the exception of the Wuhan branch Murata has resumed operations at all of its factories and offices this week from February 10th.
