Feature

  • High energy density
High energy density has been achieved owing to the Murata's original high-precision material-mixing technology. The use of antioxidant, high performance separators also contributes to improved storage characteristics.
  • Excellent stable discharge characteristics
Constant voltage output is available during the discharging.
  • Excellent leakage resistance
Murata-unique sealing structure, coupled with special sealing- material treatment, has helped accomplish the excellent leakage resistance.
  • RoHS directive・European Directives
This product does not contain Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), nor Lead (Pb), and conforms to EC regulation values (Directive 2006/66/EC, 2013/56/EU). Battery pack are excluded from RoHS directive (DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 8 June 2011 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment).

Principle of Silver Oxide Battery

Silver oxide (Ag2O) is used for the active cathode material, and Specially processed fine zinc-alloy powder is used for the active anode material. Potassium hydroxide is used as an electrolyte.
Battery discharge reactions are follows

Principle of Silver Oxide Battery

With open circuit voltage of approx. 1.55V, the battery voltage is extremely stable and impedance remains low during discharge.

Request for handling of Silver Oxide Batteries

We received some inquiries such as “Mechanical Malfunction”, “Short Operating time”, “Low Voltage” when using Silver Oxide Batteries. However, we conclude that those are caused by “External Short-circult”.
It occurs by incorrect handling or carelessness of the battery. Therefore, please read the “Caution” below and pay full attention to external short-circuits.

In addition, we kindly ask you to send “Caution” to selling place when selling our Silver Oxide Batteries to other customer.
