    Principle of Alkaline manganese Battery

    Manganese dioxide (MnO2) is used for the active cathode material, and specially processed fine zinc-alloy powder is used for the active anode material. Potassium hydroxide is used as an electrolyte.

    With open circuit voltage of approx. 1.50V,
    the battery voltage is extremely stable and impedance remains low during discharge.

    We received some inquiries such as “Mechanical Malfunction”, “Short Operating time”, “Low Voltage” when using Alkaline Manganese Batteries. However, we conclude that those are caused by “External Short-circult”.
    It occurs by incorrect handling or carelessness of the battery. Therefore, please read the “Caution” below and pay full attention to external short-circuits.
