Ceramic Resonators (CERALOCK) FAQQWhy does frequency correlation occur when CERALOCK is mounted in opposite direction?

A
CERALOCK have two built-in load capacitors inside, CL1 at input side and  CL2 at  output side. Capacitance value of CL1 and CL2 are not completely equal.

Oscillation frequency : Fosc is approximated by following formula.
When CERALOCK is mounted in opposite side, positions of built-in load capacitors CL1 and CL2 are switched. Because of the difference of capacitance value of CL1 and CL2, frequency correlation occur.
