NTC Thermistors FAQQ[NC* Series] Why is the maximum operating current lower than competitors?

A

This is because the definition is different from other companies. We defines it as a current that self-heats at 0.1°C. The heat dissipation constant used in the calculation is the value of the device itself. If you change the heat generation temperature or heat dissipation constant definition, the maximum operating current will change.
