Principle

The output voltage of contact type rotary position sensor is proportional to the rotational angle of a rotor in potentiometer fashion.

Output voltage fluctuates from change in resistance due to the rotation of the rotor.The rotational angle can be easily derived by measureing this voltage.

Applications

• Use of rotary position sensors reduce the number of switching components, which results in cost reduction.
