Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “Murata”) has developed the “MHM324 type” ionizer (hereinafter, “this product”), a new product in the MHM3 series (DC input series). Mass production has already begun. Samples can also be provided.
The demand for air purifiers has increased in recent years, due to a heightened focus on maintaining health and hygiene. This has resulted in calls to enhance air purifier functionality and to add air improvement functionality to home appliances.
In response, Murata has expanded its lineup of products that efficiently generate ions at low voltages. This product has achieved an increase*1 of approximately 1.6 times in ion amount and approximately 1.3 times in ozone amount that affect air purification, sterilization, and deodorization functions compared with Murata’s existing “MHM306 type ionizer” by newly designing the high-voltage power supply.
If you are using Murata’s existing “MHM3 series,” simply exchanging the model will contribute to the enhancement of the air purification, sterilization, and deodorization functions since the circuit board size, installation location, and interface are unified with a common design*2. Additionally, by unifying our high-voltage power supplies, we have achieved shorter lead times between when your order is placed and when the product is delivered from the factory compared with existing products.
