Murata reinforces solutions for EMC issues in China! Support service for EMI suppression measures using shielded room at Beijing Branch.

Overview

Murata Electronics Trading (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. has installed EMI^*1 noise measurement equipment at the Beijing Branch in October 2012 and has started analysis and solution support service for EMI noise.

Background

Murata set up the Design and Engineering Center at Murata (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in 2007 with an aim to provide quick technical services to customers in China. We installed EMI noise measurement equipment in Shanghai and Shenzhen in 2008 that was specifically intended to provide EMC^*2 technical support. We also set up the company's first overseas electromagnetic anechoic chamber building called "Murata EMC Center" in Shanghai in 2010.

These facilities are being used by many customers in the Chinese-speaking region and are well received by them. Our facilities enable customers to reduce the time and cost required for implementing noise suppression because these services allow them to provide measures for EMC issues from the initial designing stage of their products. Consequently, we have set up a shielded room and measuring instruments at the Beijing Branch of Murata Electronics Trading (Tianjin) for the purpose of reinforcing our support framework for customers in and around the Beijing area.

Murata plans to expand sales of our EMI suppression components through a technical support service for providing EMC problem solutions based on the technologies we acquired over the years.

Murata utilizes our latest EMC issue solution components to propose solutions that fully apply the analysis results of EMI noise on circuit boards verified by our magnetic near-field distribution measurement instrument^*3 and our company's EMI noise suppression know-how.
