How to use Murata Community

Anyone can view the contents of the forum without needing to sign up for an account or to undergo any other procedures.
If you sign into your Murata ID account, you can post questions and answers.

You can search for similar questions from tags and the search box.

Search by tag (topic)

  1. 1Select the category of product you want to look up.

  2. 2If you select a tag (topic) at the top of the page, a list of related questions will be displayed.

Search by product number and model name

If you enter a product number, model name, or other keyword in the search box at the top of the page and then click on “Search,” a list of related questions will be displayed.

Post a question

If there have not been any similar questions in the past, you can obtain an answer direct from Murata Manufacturing's technical staff by posting a question.

  • *You need to sign up for a Murata ID account and sign in to post a question.

How to sign up for a Murata ID account and sign in

Please sign up for an account or sign in from the “Sign up/Sign in (Murata ID)” link at the top right of the page.

How to post a question

  1. 1Select the category of the product you want to ask about.

  2. 2Click on “Ask a Question” at the bottom right.

  3. 3Please follow the steps below to create a question.

    1. Select a product category.
    2. Enter a title for your question.
    3. Enter the details of your question.
      Caution: Do not include any confidential or personal information.
    4. If necessary, attach a file.
    5. Tag your question with the product name or part number, etc. You can leave this blank if you do not know.
      Tags may be edited by site admin to improve the organization of questions.
    6. Once you have completed all of the above steps, click “Ask” to submit your question.

Submitted questions will appear publicly on the site once they have been checked by admin.

If someone posts an answer to your question, a notification will be sent to your registered email address.
