AMR Sensors FAQQCurrent consumption (Icc)

A
  • This is the current used by the AMR sensor to operate.
The AMR sensor includes magnetic resistors, and when sensing is performed, a current flows through the resistor element, which uses current.
Also, in magnetic switches with built-in ICs, current is used to operate the internal circuit.
  • Although a current also flows to the magnetoresistive element of the AMR sensor, for some products, the timing that current flows to this magnetoresistive element can be adjusted for reducing the current that is used (internal sampling).
