Infrared Sensors FAQQIs Pyroelectric infrared sensor influenced by sunlight and Headlights for automobiles?

A
Yes, it is influenced.
When sunlight, etc. shines directly on the pyroelectric infrared sensor, a sudden temperature change occurs on the surface and the pyroelectric ceramic reacts to the temperature change, and the sensitivity may be output.
For this reason, use in a location where it is not influenced by sunlight and headlights, etc. (no direct sunlight).
