On-Demand Webinar
Some examples of power supply circuit designs that make use of capacitors in automotive devices, and noise suppression measures for next-generation CAN

Overview

Main theme

(1) Low impedance design of power supply circuits in automotive devices (capacitors)

(2) Noise suppression measures for next-generation interfaces of control system in vehicle (Common mode choke coils)

Recommended for

(1) For those who want to learn how to use capacitors, or who are interested in low-impedance designs

New system-on-chips (SoCs) with lower voltage and higher currents continue to be developed to meet the needs of increasingly advanced vehicles, such as those equipped with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). There is now a pressing need to improve the quality of power supplies through power distribution network (PDN) design.
This seminar covers the basics of PDN design for automotive devices, the types and arrangements of decoupling capacitors, and key points of reducing impedance through board design.

(2) For those interested in next-generation CAN, and engineers involved in noise suppression measures

Autonomous driving technologies and xEV technologies have made rapid progress in recent years, and so have automotive control system interfaces. In the implementation of electrical components in vehicles, noise suppression measures are crucial technologies to ensure high reliability and safety.
This seminar provides an overview of a next-generation automotive control system interface called "CAN-SiC (next-generation CAN)," and introduces some examples of EMC measures for immunity tests and conducted emission tests.
