Since the launch of wearables, nearly 20 years ago, significant markets have been established, with around 500 million units shipping in 2021. Recent advances in sound processing, biometric sensing, voice assistant technology, wireless connectivity and power management have made hearables (smart, in-ear devices) the next wearables sector expected to show massive growth.
