Ceramic Capacitors FAQQAfter mounting a ceramic capacitor to a substrate, what is the storage temperature when storing it in a non-operating state?

A

After mounting a ceramic capacitor to a substrate, please store it within the operating temperature range of the ceramic capacitor (MLCC and lead type).
However, in the case of a ceramic capacitor with lead, the resin strength weakens when the exterior resin is hot (100°C or more) immediately after it is mounted to a board or in a similar situation. Therefore, please take care when handling it so as not to apply mechanical stress.
Use of this product in a way that deviates from that described above may lead to a short circuit in the worst case, which may cause smoke to be emitted, fragments to be scattered, and other problems.
We state the operating temperature range of each product on the product details page or detailed specifications sheetDetailed specifications sheet
