How to Connect the Vibration Sensor Device Operating Sample Evaluation Boards

  • Please connect the leads as shown in the diagram below.
  • If measuring acceleration, connect the VDD to a DC power supply and supply 5 Vdc.
  • Next, please connect the acceleration output (OUT) to an oscilloscope.

  • *Note : If using PKGM-200D-R (differential output model) without using the acceleration output (OUT−), the acceleration output (OUT+) will be halved.

How to Fix the Evaluation Boards in Place

  • Please mount the evaluation board to the device under test (DUT) with adhesive or screws.
  • To measure high-frequency vibrations, it is important to fix the evaluation board in place to the DUT without any gaps. For the initial evaluation, you can use double-sided tape or Kapton tape.
  • However, for more accurate measurements, we recommended fixing the evaluation board in place with adhesive or screws rather than double-sided tape.
  • *We do not recommend mounting the evaluation boards with soft materials as it will impede high-frequency transmission.
