Why Wi-Fi® + Bluetooth®?

Wi-Fi® + Bluetooth® allow you to connect to internet directly, so it is the most flexible wireless technology for your IoT products. Select from wide range of Wi-Fi® modules supporting IEEE 802.11a, 11b, 11g, 11n and 11ac 2×2 MIMO standard, 2.4GHz and 5GHz band for your wireless LAN and Bluetooth® 4.1/4.2/5.0/5.1 BR/EDR/LE communication. Interface for the host processor is SDIO or PCIe for high throughput applications with radio only modules, and UART with MCU embedded modules for lower data rate applications. Interface for Bluetooth® is UART.

There are new terminologies introduced, wi-fi® 4, wi-fi® 5 and wi-fi® 6. They are equivalent with 11n, 11ac and 11ax.

With our packaging technology, Murata’s Wi-Fi® + Bluetooth® modules are extremely small, so you have more space for you. Metal coat shielding technology eliminates the need for a metal can shielding and minimizes your cost and size. When space is at a premium, look to Murata to keep it small without sacrificing Wi-Fi®/Bluetooth® features or power.

RF design is already covered. Just mount Murata module and no need to hassle with high frequency analog design. Certified modules are much easier since FCC/IC/CE/TELEC are already tested. With embedded MCU modules are the easiest and smallest solution. On-board antenna or reference antenna design are also available. Linux solution for MPU, RTOS solution for MCU and cloud partner solutions are available. For high throughput demands, low current consumption demands, time-to-market demands, we have the solution.
Murata Makes it Faster
With the good RF design, you can keep using higher data rate in longer range. With lower data rate, the communication distance can be much longer. Our modules are well tuned to have the good RF performance. We also support antenna and matching for your application.
