Murata's proprietary diplexer modules, developed for the cable communications industry (DOCSIS), combine circuits for different bands into a single module.
Used in indoor cable modems and outdoor amplifiers / nodes, these modules are capable of splitting incoming signals into two frequencies and combining two frequencies for transmission.
We have adopted multilayer ceramic technology in these modules. This achieves excellent performance by offering both low return loss and high attenuation. As a result, the modules are being widely adopted by North American telecommunications operators and infrastructure equipment manufacturers keen to employ the latest standards.
